"Pros: Communication with Halina before I arrived was great, we organised to meet at the property. She showed us into her lovely home and explained the keys, We paid the city tax and received an email with a QR code, which entitled us to free entry to the pier.
The apartment had everything we needed to self cater, including condiments, tea and coffee. Halina bought us a bread and milk as we arrived on a Sunday and only the small "corner " shops are open, very much appreciated, thank you.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, the power shower gave plenty of hot water and mattress comfortable, a slightly soft Ikea brand.
The large private balcony had the sun for the majority of the day and was a quiet and relaxing place to sit. The block and surrounding area was quiet and a great base to explore both he old town and sea front promenade and pier.
There is car parking within the gated community, we always found a space. The Kaufland and Lidl are 10 minutes walk. There is a small " corner" shop and a bakery just around the corner. A large shopping mall can be reached by car in 10 minutes.
It is a 5-10 minute walk into the old town, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafe's, the town has many beautiful buildings and is steeped in history.
It is a 15- 20 minute walk to the sea front, walking along the riverside at first and then into the parks, where you can sit and enjoy the greenery and either walk straight to the lighthouse or carry on through another park to be by the pier. The beaches were clean and watched by the Lifeguards.
There are many restaurants in Kolobrzeg offering international cuisine, we enjoyed local meals and produce, Greek, Thai and visiting the Brewery.
Kolobrzeg t is favoured by retirees and young families, for it's facilities, long flat promenade, eateries and quietness. There are no sports bars, pubs, nightclubs or drinking culture ( that I saw).
Cons: The blinds in the bedroom let the light in, we had blind folds so it was OK."
