"Pros: The location was beautiful, with direct beach access, beautifully furnished. The host Gabriella & staff warmly welcomed us, made us feel instantly at home and were attentive. The food was good as well and I believe due to our timing, we had the entire place to ourselves. Cons: Towels weren't refreshed in the room, there were road works ongoing so access to Watamu town was difficult (though this is temporary and not under the control of Alawi), and I'd have loved a better ocean view from the room (maybe a larger window or glass doors)" ~Wadoyi
