Accomodation

Situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, Samburu offers fully furnished, thatched-roof tents. It has an outdoor pool, and guided safari drives are offered twice a day. The spacious tents at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp come with a 4-poster bed with a mosquito net. Each has mahogany furniture and wooden floors. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity and a flush toilet. Buffet-style meals are served at the camp’s restaurant, which opens onto a river-facing terrace. Afternoon tea is also available. Guests can join guided bush walks in the morning. Relaxing massage treatments can be scheduled, and there is a playground for younger guests.

Please note a mandatory Conservation Fee of USD 70.00 per person per day applies to all guests upon entry. payable in cash at the gate of the Samburu National Reserve.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 3 years old to 11 years old stay for 50% of the adult rate per person per night when using an existing bed. You haven't added any extra beds. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
