"Pros: Large apartment with plenty of room to move about. It was close to the main parts of town. It was quiet with no road noise or noise from neighbours. Great to have access to a washing machine. Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook meals from the apartment. The host was very responsive to any queries we had. Cons: There was no hot water for the duration of our stay (4 nights). The host said this was a city-wide issue. We asked the host about whether she had registered our stay in Kazakhstan and she said she didn’t do that." ~Damian
