"Pros: I was so pleased to have been able to stay here at the Wadi Rum Village Lodge. Please don't be fooled like I was by the many temptingly-priced accommodations supposedly located in Wadi Rum Village on here. They are priced purposefully low to get you to book, and then they'll pile on the pressure for you to take your desert safari with them at extra cost. They are also not located in the Village, but will entail an extra "transport cost" where you park your car in the village and they pick you up. The place I had booked wanted 40JOD for this, and then you are at their mercy. I was fortunately able to cancel with them at no cost, and have since made a complaint about them to booking dot com. This malpractice is absolutely not the case here at the Wadi Rum Village Lodge, which I was able to easily book having made my cancellation with the other place. The owner Ayed is highly personable, polite and welcoming, and gratefully accommodated me at the last minute. The room was cosy and comfortable, the shared bathroom clean and convenient, and the food exceptional - I had a delicious dinner and breakfast there. I could also park my rental car easily in front of the place, and the peaceful garden and amazing mountain views from there were just the icing on the cake. I could not recommend this place enough for anyone wishing to stay in Wadi Rum Village itself. Thank you for a wonderful stay Ayed." ~Alexander

"Pros: We stayed in a bubble tent, I can highly recommend that. The view and the whole experience was amazing. It looked like staying on the Mars. Cons: -Be careful on the way to the camp! Our driver was smoking in the car and when he threw out the cigarette it landed under my fiance. He felt some pain, turned out the cigarette ruined his clothes… Lot of promises were made to compensate him, nothing happened. -If you dont book a tour with them, they will try to make you cancel the other and book again with them. I know it is business, but as a customer I want to decide where to book anything without getting pressure on my shoulder." ~Dominika

"Pros: I really found Quite desert very interesting, the host was super available for all of my questions and needs. I had a great time during the evening in the common area with other guests and the food was really good for dinner and for the breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and the private toilet was really comfortable. The next day trip was excellent and very full of a super interesting experience." ~Step

"Pros: We spent one night in the lovely camp. We had a private “tent” but it is more like glamping with good shared bathroom facilities a few steps away. Though we didn’t spend much time in camp since we were on day trips there was a lovely atmosphere in the common area/dinning area and fire place at night. It was cosy and welcoming and the perfect place to wind down after a long day on the jeep tour." ~Lydia
