Khaled's Camp is situated 12 km from Rum Village and is tucked inside one of Wadi Rum protected areas. It is within close proximity to hiking, trekking and climbing sites as well as the wilderness zone for those visitors wanting to experience greater tranquility and solitude. Nearby is the newly installed telescope at the observation point. A five minute walk will have you gazing at a million stars. The private camp features washroom facilities. Mattresses and blankets are provided. Various styles of sleeping accommodations like the iconic Bedouin tent known as bait al shaar or “house of hair” because of the goat hair used in its production. There are private tents which can accommodate up to 6 people. In addition, we offer family tents that cater to the needs of families or larger groups. For the more adventurous guests, the property offers sand dune accommodations. Sleeping under the stars is an amazing way to experience the desert. Guests can enjoy the “private cave” if they are wishing for greater seclusion. There is a special play area for children where they can play on the sand dune or climb the small hill located close to the camp. The nearest airport is King Hussein International Airport, 41 km from Khaled's Camp.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 11 years old stay for JOD 15 per person per night when using an existing bed. People 12 years old and over stay for JOD 25 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
