"Pros: It was very remote and quiet. It was off season ( February) and we were the only guests. The staff was very friendly and the dinner and breakfast were terrific. It was cold but we were perfectly comfortable in the tent with blankets. The fire and tea in the communal tent just perfect.
Cons: Parking and entering the camp was a little confusing. There’s no cell service in the parking area so you can’t call for assistance. Fortunately we had a local driver and he was able to figure it out."

- 14 km north of Petra’s archaeological site
- Head north from Petra’s Visitors’ Centre towards Beda
- Pass the Bdoul Housing
- About 8.5 km, turn right for 150 metres and then left following Wadi Araba (not towards Ash Shawbak)
- About 3.5 km, continue on the right leg of the Y-junction along a narrow winding road for about 750 metres
- Going off-road to the right (without the need for a 4x4 vehicle), the camp is located after 500 metres
