"Pros: It was at a walking distance from the Shin-Yokohama station. However, the walk was complicated and unpleasant. Cons: The apartment/home had an unpleasant smell and many mosquitos. The bathroom was divided into three parts each diametrically opposed: shower in one corner; sink in another and toilet in another. These were all downstairs. To reach them from the bedrooms, one needs to take a steep (and treacherous) staircase. The bedrooms were problematic as well: only one had air conditioning. In addition, one of the bedrooms truly was a passageway for the other leaving no privacy in that bedroom." ~Japkowicz

"Pros: Quiant Japanese house in a secluded, quiet location for our Tokyo excursions. Beautiful house, clean and well kept. The house is tucked into a narrow side alley. There's a park in front for morning exercises, nearby Lawson and 7-e for snacks, and 24-h coin laundry, a few restaurants and cafe within 5 mins walk. There are paid parking lots at the end of the road. Comfortable 15 minutes walk to Higashi-Kanagawa Station and 25 mins walk to Yokohama station. Plenty of taxi at Yokohama station if returning back late. There's plenty to do in Yokohama city itself. It does get cold in the house (it was rainy season when we stayed there) but the A/Cs suffice. The 2 bedrooms are connected on the top floor (you have to walk through the 1st room to get to the 2nd) but only the 2nd room is equipped with an A/C unit. So we had to leave the doors separating the rooms open in order to heat up the 1st room through the night. The folding mattresses and pillows can be better though... All in, and the price we got it for, it was a pleasant 5-night stay for a family of 4. Add another A/C unit in the 1st bedroom and better sleeping arrangement, this can be a 10/10." ~Megat

"Pros: It was conveniently located 5 minutes from Kanagawa station and about a 30 minute stroll to Cup Noodle Museum. It also took only 10 minutes walk to Higashi-Kanagawa station if you wanted to take the JK line directly into Tokyo. I also believe it was a 15 minute stroll to Yokohama station. Easy stroll. Aside from the convenience the house was of good size, clean, and very comfortable. Anytime I stay in Yokohama I would definitely consider booking here again! Cons: N/A" ~Howard
