"Pros: The design of the hotels from bed linen to curtains and the room design aesthetic was beautiful, sleek and modern, with an overall art deco feel to the rooms. The onsen and sky lounge area on the top floor was beautiful and lotions and shampoos from the hotel were gorgeous. The outdoor pool overlooking the city, the river and the bridges and railway tracks was a great vista to overlook while outdoor bathing. The place was super clean and the staff were always friendly and very helpful. A very relaxing stay and the hotel is located over the municipal Wakayama library and the railway station which is a fantastic connection to Kansai Airport. A lovely stay was had by all in the Kandeo Hotel in Wakayama." ~Lara
