Boasting an open-air hot spring bath, Shinzanso is situated in the Okuhida Hot Spring Village in Takayama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Shinhotaka Ropeway can be reached with a 15-minute walk or a 3-minute drive from the property. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms have a seating area where you can relax. Every room is fitted with a shared bathroom. Shinzanso is a 15-minute drive from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal while JR Takayama Station is a 60-minute drive away. Kamikochi area and Mt. Norikura can both be reached with a 45-minute drive.

Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. Guests must check in by 18:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note this property is located in Okuhida Hot Spring Villages. Directions from JR Takayama Station bus terminal: Take the Shinhodaka Onsen line and get off at Shinzanso-mae bus stop. Guests arriving after 18:00 must inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Please note that there are no restaurants nearby. Guests who wish to eat dinner at the property must make a reservation at least 1 day in advance. If the property is not informed in advance, no meals may be served. Please note smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Guest rooms are smoke free.
