"Pros: The apartment was very comfortable, roomy, quiet and well appointed Cons: Check-in. The message we had on our confirmation was that 'someone will meet you at the property'. This was not the case. We had to pick up a key at the Yoshima Royal Hotel, which is a 5 minute drive away. So be sure to read your messages carefully and not rely on the confirmation information. Once we wasted a good hour sorting this out, we found that the accommodation was good. The location was fine as we had a car. I'm not sure how easy this is to get to via public transport, and then having g to drag luggage from the Yashima Royal to the property may not be ideal. You are also expected to return the key to the same hotel." ~Katherine

"Pros: We really felt at home at Guesthouse Yashima! It felt like staying over at family (but with a lot of privacy). It is a lovely house surrounded by beautiful flowers at a location that felt like the countryside - except for the train (which was fine - and convenient) it is so quiet! It is close to nature, there’s enough shops nearby and Takamatsu city centre is easy to reach by train (or bike!). We had a wonderful time, loved the cats, slept really well and had great fun exploring the area (Yakuri temple was beautiful, the Noguchi museum magnificent, Ritsurin garden of course and there’s so much more)!
