"Pros: Owned and run by amazing host Kiki and Hayden. Helps to have both Japanese and English speaking to cater for local and international guest. What a beautiful location with the option of driving to so many other ski fields if you have a car (30 to 45mins away). If you arrive by bus, host will come and pick you up and drive you back to bus stop. The ski lift to the 2 main resorts tangram & madarao is 5mins walk from lodge. There was a lot of snow so we could ski back to the lodge along the road. Breakfast each day was varied and yummy. We extended our stay to 6 nights as we loved it. Hayden went out of his way to organise a rental car for us so that we could take a day off skiing and go for a drive to the coast. Perfect place and look forward to returning. Love how this and other lodges close by each have different cuisine for dinner. Beds are comfortable. Room had underfloor heating and seperate air con unit should you need it.
