"Pros: Very convenient location which is near to shinkyo bridge, shrines and temples. All the staff are very friendly and approachable, in particular Mr Kato san who communicates well and is very attentive to our needs during meal time. The room is very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the private onsen very much, and of course, delicious ryokan dinner and breakfast in the private dining room. Would love to stay in this hotel if visit Nikko again." ~Saw

"Pros: Only a couple of minutes walk to Toshogu shrine. Restaurants up the hill same street on left beautiful old sukiyaki restaurant. Give that a go while staying here. Dont forget to go to Kegon falls too Cons: Older Japanese style hotel with grand bath was great experience at night. Every morning free coffee in the first floor cafe." ~Ray
