"Pros: Rough, old, grubby and expensive, that said we made the most of our stay and enjoyed it. The hotel dinner was nice and reasonably priced, it was Christmas.
Cons: It was very far from the station by foot through the mucky fields or along a busy main road (about 25 minute walk). It was raining and then it was SNOWING so it would have been nice if the hotel had provided a lift by car to the station, they did not.
Even for Japanese standards the bed was small for two people.
Staff has no English but are polite and helpful.
Onsen is ONLY for MEN which is very unfriendly and should be stated when you book, on request they let me and my wife use privately it for 45 mins."

"Pros: House is spacious, nice and well equipped with amenities.
Good wifi, able to watch Netflix, washing machine with dryer, heater and good kitchen. We had a great time staying here.
Looking forward to stay here again in the future.
Cons: We would happy if there is some mug,
so that we can drink hot chocolate or coffee using the mug."
