"Pros: Great views over the Sea of Japan. Proximity to Takayama Inari shrine. Meals were great.. There's a free bar in the foyer lounge with great Ocean views. Cons: The onsen was non-genuine but I knew that when I booked. To be expected because it's nowhere near the mountains. Otherwise very clean and really well stocked. It's kind of a hybrid property. French name and some French pretensions. Certainly not Ryokan style downstairs, but great Japanese style rooms upstairs." ~Chris
