"Pros: Very secure building with password for entering the building, spacious room with big windows, comfy bed. There is a nearby subway station that connects with Gion and 15 min walking to Kyoto station if you're travelling by Shinkansen. They allowed us early checkin at no extra cost and the staff kindly contacted us 1 day before to confirm arrival time.
Cons: No laundry room or iron, mold in the bathroom. The room was quite smelly, we left the windows open for ventilation but the odour was still there"
