"Pros: It was clean and spacious. Enjoyed the massage chair. Host is prompt in responding. There’s a pathway from back of the property leading to beautiful Lake Kussharo which is just few minutes walk. Nestled in the middle of beautiful autumn foliage. Cons: There is no blinds on the clear glass windows in the bathroom. Outsiders walking through the access at the back of property to Lake Kussharo can to see right through into the bath which didn’t give peace of mind throughout our stay. Couldn’t enjoy the onsen properly for this reason too. Hope the host can consider putting up blinds in the bathroom and bedrooms. No lights and pitch dark at the car porch entrance when arriving in the evenings in the autumn and winter months." ~Puay
