Rooftop terrace was great.
Besides 5 clothing hangers, the room had additional hooks on the wall.
The information on the TV can show you which washers/dryers are free or in use, and even tells you how long (minutes) they've been in use so you can set your expectations!
Cons: The wifi didn't extend to the terrace.
The bathroom had very little counter space and places to hang clothes/towels - typical of Japanese hotels."

"Pros: The location was perfect, conveniently located to Kumamoto Castle and lots of restaurants. The hotel is old school in the best kind of way.
Cons: There was nothing that I didn't particularly like. Anything that was missing, I knew about beforehand (e.g. pool) and decided that I did not need it. I do feel that parking should be included in the price, but I also understand that parking is an in demand commodity in Japan."
