"Pros: Stayed in small self-contained 1 bedroom apartment in the Colleen block. Very comfortable with great bed in the separate bedroom. We were picked up at the bus stop and dropped off on our departure. The staff were great and very responsive. They also drove us to Chill ski rental on day 1 where we could leave our ski gear for a fee. The bar and restaurant in chamonix were very nice although unexpectedly closed one night which was inconvenient. Cons: The location is about 1 km (at least 20min if carrying skis and boots along the icy roads) up to the skill hill. Whilst the staff were great and gave us a lift on the first day and picked us up on the last day of skiing upon request, this isn’t a part of the normal offering. I think there needs to be a more formalised shuttle service to and from the ski hill if we were to stay there again. There are very few dining options close by and no significant convenience stores so you really do need to bring groceries with you." ~Mark
