"Pros: Nice hotel with comfortable rooms, very well located right next to Niigata Station and lots of restaurants and shops. The staff were nice and very helpful. The room was small but had everything I needed, including a little bit of storage space. Cons: The entrance is weirdly laid out. Reception is on the second floor and for security reasons the elevator always stops on the second floor before it can carry on. There is only one elevator and no stairs. Why they don't put reception on the first floor, I don't know. They don't offer luggage forwarding either. I was under the impression that most hotels do, but I could be mistaken. Also, it's one of those hotels where they will bring you new towels every day whether you want them or not and I wish there was a way to opt out of that." ~Anna
