"Pros: The highlights of this hotel were the public onsen by the sea (incredible sea view especially from the outdoor pool) and the very good breakfast buffet (featuring many many items, a lot of japanese food but also croissants, french toast, fruits...). The rest was disappointing. Cons: The hotel is clearly not renovated enough, I could not believe it has 5 stars. The rooms, while spacious, have flaky and yellowing walls. The mini kitchen looks old. The private onsen would have a nice view on the sea, were it not for the totally unnecessary netting on the entire balcony were the bathtub is. The staff is not as attentive as in other hotels of this standing and many details were lacking (e.g., having to ask for the welcome drink and then the only non alcoholic option is a bottle of artificial fruit juice). Location is not ideal but works well to see sights with the bus." ~Zimmermann
