"Pros: Being a senior "Senor ", The hilly landscape wasn't really conducive for walking . However ,the great on site manager Floyd ,recommended InDrive (like Uber) as an economical means of local travel and that worked for me . Someone a little lighter in years and more active should have no real issue with the area . It was reasonably quiet at nite and during my stay the pool area (nice !!) was relatively unused ....so in essence your own s Cons: Ok , It's Jamaica and I fully understand building styles, but the uninsulated kitchen ceiling can make the kitchen stifling hot . I found by moving bedroom floor fan into kitchen , it was possible to partly cool that room and often had to have main door open to get air flow . That said , I did spend much of the day in the apartment so maybe "suffered" more than I had to. LOL? For me , it was a relatively minor inconvenience but perhaps a point for a longer term stay guest ? I do suspect some of the lower level apartments would maybe avoid this issue Just sayin'...? Bedroom with some quite economical use of the a/c was just fine for sleeping...it's just too bad it wouldn't cool the kitchen." ~Aitken
