"Pros: location just outside of Volterra, within walking distance but need to take care as no walking paths. House has own pool, air conditioning, heating, wifi, dishwasher and washing machine. Kitchen has all you need but is without a microwave oven. Hosts are lovely and available should you need help with anything. Cons: Coming from Australia, we are used to having screens on our window and doors to keep bugs, mosquitoes out. We were supplied with plug-in repellents." ~Alison

"Pros: lovely, peaceful setting, within walking distance of town. Francesca and husband went out of their way to help, picking us up and giving us a ride into the town. Also gave us a bottle of their own wine, and tomatoes from their garden. Cons: Apartment could not be locked from the inside! A safe area, but still a little unnerving." ~Vivienne
