"Pros: The appartment is very close to the Palazzo dei Priori- 4-5 munute walk - so very close to the heart of Volterra. Cons: The Apparment was very hot. We did get fans for the bedroom and living area very quickly when we asked. Would definitely benefit from air conditioning" ~Craig

"Pros: Newly refurbished it seems, nicely done. Large space with comfy furniture. Good kitchen, though it needs a few dishes to cook with in the oven. Good to have a washing machine. Host responsive by WhatsApp. In a good location approx 8 mins walk with bags from the bus stop, but up quite a lot of stairs to the 3rd floor. Cons: The building stairwell smelt very strongly of smoke which was very unpleasant, but not the fault of the host. The underfloor heating is nice when on but set to a low level (as per local regulations we were told) so goes off if you put the air con on to try and warm the air more too." ~Katherine
