"Pros: Location is excellent, the room was clean and spacious. The terrace was great to sit out in the evening with a bottle of wine. Shared kitchen had everything you needed. Both the Air con and WiFi were good. Host was also very attentive, checking in if we needed any extra towels etc.
Cons: Very noisy most mornings, neighbour or rubbish truck woke us up before 8am. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Terrace could be cleaner - bird poo, in particular the chairs on the top terrace."

Cons: The washing line is very much unusable, there is a tree growing through it and the line its self is very dirty. Unfortunately we only found this out after we had done a load of washing. Notified the agency and was just told the tree grows fast. Stayed at this property specifically to use a kitchen and do laundry, some compensation would have been nice considering the cost of this place and inconvenience hanging wet clothes up around the apartment and the 5 hangers did not cut it."

Its terraces offer stunning views of the Ligurian Sea and the village, and Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Located in 3 buildings, all rooms at the Gianni Franzi have a simple décor and terracotta floors. Each includes a cooling fan and the private bathroom comes with a shower. A few steps from the rooms location and by the village's main square, the property has a bar and restaurant offering local cuisine and national specialities. Panoramic hiking tracks are available nearby. The property is a few steps from the small sandy beach and the marina and 150 metres from Vernazza Train Station. A boat bus and trains offer daily connections to Monterosso, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
