"Pros: We spend 6 months of the year in Italy, in various booking.com and Airbnb apartments and this is without a doubt our favourite. The apartment was perfect in every way. The location is superb, the balcony overlooking the sea is very special. It was spotlessly clean, the shower was great with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the bed was so comfortable. We hope to return to Tropea but we would have to stay in this apartment as nothing would come close to being as good! We were given fresh fruit, water and coffee. Giuseppe was the perfect host. He even went the extra mile and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station! Outstanding hospitality. "Pros: Clean spacious modern and the location was great! Debra was very helpful when I had a few issues. Large bedroom with plenty of room for suitcases and a comfortable firm bed. A complete set of utensils and pots. Cons: Just small things that may help the next person. There was no cutting board, not only useful but it protects the landlords kitchen surfaces. Only one set of bathroom towels for a week and one cloth and hand towel for dishes. It would have been good to have a spare as I had many meals at home. Mosquitos are everywhere but unfortunately I don’t tolerate them well. When I checked the window screens I saw there were some holes in them so I mostly kept windows and doors closed. These comments are my personal preferences, none of which may affect other people. It would also be helpful to have a few cleaning products in case the guests need them. I could only find floor cleaner." ~Gail

"Pros: Il Giardino was absolutely amazing! What a beautiful, well stocked, inviting and lovely home! Alessio was a 5-star host! He made us feel so welcomed, was responsive to all our questions, and went above and beyond! He was so warm and funny, and made our stay exceptional! Our daughter was married while we were there - it was such a perfect setting for her wedding preparations. Alessio even came to her wedding venue to wish her good luck and gifted her a lovely bottle of Prosecco! We were a party of 6 and were able to cook full course Italian meals with local ingredients because the kitchen was so complete. If you want the best experience in Tropea, book Il Giardino!
