"Pros: Liked · Valentina is a wonderful , friendly , funny and helpful hostess . I arrived late but was greeted with a smile . Over the next days Valentina gave me lifts to the supermarket and into Torgiano , listening to her son's playlist which started with Frank Sinatra and moved on to Frank Zappa and Genesis ... just what I like . She left me a present of home grown figs one morning , I didn't know what they were but tried them... delicious but I slightly overdosed hmmmmm ! I had booked her appartment because I was attending a wedding festival in Castello di Rosciano . It looked about 1.5km away or 1km as the crow flies . A nice short walk I thought . But what the map did not show me was that the crow would be flying at about 45 degrees upwards !! The cars had to use first gear some of the time to get up there . If staying with Valentina , you really need to have your own transport . That was my mistake If I am in the Perugia area again , I would definitely stay with the lovely Valentina again ." ~John
