"Pros: It’s a nice place at a reasonable rate. The hosts were very responsive. Valentina met us at the property and was extremely friendly and warm - even though we’d missed our flight and our bus was very delayed meaning we required a late check in. The apartment is in a lovely location, close to everything. It was very clean when we arrived. The sofa was super comfortable, as was the bed and we really enjoyed the view from the balcony. The high ceilings made the apartment feel very spacious. Cons: There are a lot of small things that could easily be corrected to make a stay more comfortable - especially for those staying longer than a couple of days. The kitchen was missing important items that made cooking and cleaning a bit uncomfortable - like tea towels (apparently for hygiene reasons, yet sponges and towels carry more germs) and oven gloves. There was only one oven dish, one cutting knife (which was blunt) and one wine glass. There were hardly any hangers for the wardrobe, the wardrobe was missing handles making doors and drawers hard to open, no coat hooks, no cleaning products or cloths and we were only given one set of towels, bath mat, and bedding, even though we were there for 2 weeks. Everything took forever to dry in the winter so we had to find a laundrette and use regularly. It’s also not ideal having nobody to contact between 6pm-9am for emergencies - we lost water on our last day, after 6pm, so did not get a response until the next day. We could not wash dishes, shower, wash our hands or even flush the toilet. We had to go out and buy bottled water to shower, which slowed us down in the morning, but we were still rushed out for a 10am checkout. I would definitely stay again, but would like these little things to be addressed." ~Corall
