"Pros: The apartment is in then very heart of Sulmona so it is easy to visit all its attractions and places of historical interest, and enjoy the great restaurants. The great welcome we received. Germano waited for us for a rather late check in and went out of his way to provide us with a lot of useful information about the surroundings, parking, events, shops and restaurants and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. "Pros: It was located in the center of town with walking distance to Piazza Garibaldi, il corso and la Villa near Chiesa San Panfilo. The apartment had a washing machine which was perfect if you needed to do laundry which we did. It had a nice back deck for espresso in the morning. It also had air conditioning, kitchette, TV with cable. It was a lovely apartment overall, our host Fiorella was very accommodating and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. A lovely lady. Cons: The apartment is a second floor walk up, the stairs are a bit steep which is a bit difficult when taking your suitcase up and down. Also, the apartment is located in the historic area which you need to check for the hours you are able to drive thru for loading and unloading." ~Dilisio

"Pros: Great location in the heart of Sulmona. Modernised flat with plenty of space. Cons: The flat could do with a few more basic pieces of equipment. We would recommend an electric kettle, a toaster and possibly an air fryer. We had to buy a corkscrew and spatula for the frying pan (which we have left behind!) but it needs at least 2 cutting boards (bread and vegetables), more mugs, several sharp knives including a bread knife and supplying a tea towel - the small galley kitchen doesn't allow for a lot of washing up to be left to drip dry! The kitchen is definitely "one butt" but the attached dining room has plenty of space for an extra work top and to store other items of equipment. I would recommend the owner stays a night in their own property and they will soon realise what is missing." ~Tim
