"Pros: Fair, mostly residential location, easy to find on foot from the station and about equidistant from the Archeology Park and center of Ortigia Island. Spacious, well lit room with not the best "sea view" but beautiful sunrises. Cons: The washing machine is on its last legs, neither fully washing or spinning out your clothes (like one shirt would be soaking wet and another completely dry... how does that even happen, hahaha). The kitchenette is not fully thought through. What is there (coffee machine, mini fridge, induction stove) is good quality but missing stuff. For example, the pan is getting scraped up because there are no wooden spoons or spatulas to cook with, just the eating utensils. Minor annoyances, otherwise, I really enjoyed staying there." ~Daniel

"Pros: We appreciated the range of food and drink left in the apartment, including enough for breakfasts all week. It was particularly lovely to have oranges and lemons from the tree outside! We liked the style of the apartment and that it had pleasant outdoor space for us to sit. The bathroom was very well-equipped. The location was very convenient for walking to restaurants and for crossing over into Ortigia. Cons: The apartment was missing just one or two things that would have made it even more comfortable: tumblers for drinking water, a coffee table for the sofa (and maybe even an armchair to complete the lounge area, which was quite bare) and a soft headboard for the bed (it's currently concrete). Although the doors seemed strong and secure, they do open straight out to the street, and noise during the night came through quite clearly. As the apartment is one room, even in bed you feel as though you're close to whatever is happening on the street outside." ~Chloe

"Pros: The apartment was spotless and well equipped The host showed me around and how to use all the appliances a good handover with time given to ask questions There was complimentary fresh fruit a selection of cold drinks on arrival and plenty of coffee pods for the coffee machine The location is perfect to explore everywhere on foot a five minute walk to a beach a ten minute walk to the train station and the town it was quiet to sleep at night comfortable beds and chairs too!
