"Pros: A homely stay in Solanas! Roberto is very kind and helpful. The house is as it appears in the pictures. Beds are comfortable and quite new. We appreciated the variety of pillow options as some prefer a more plump pillow and some like it flatter. Mosquito nets are fitted on almost all windows, although one or two had a small gap at the bottom where mosquitoes could enter. But there is air conditioning in every bedroom and in the kitchen/living area. The small swimming pool was nice to have. Getting into the driveway might be a little tricky for big cars, but we were careful and didn't really have any issues with getting our VW Taigo in, we just had to take it slow. It's in a quiet location, very set back from the main road, on a small private residential road. With a car it was easy to get to big supermarkets and beaches within 15-20mins. There are closer beaches as well which are only a 5-10min drive and also nice. It felt like a family home in the sense that there were small touches that are sometimes missing in other places. There was water, toilet paper, even dental kits! We felt that Roberto was available and willing to help if we needed anything. A lovely stay! Cons: It's not brand new so the gate and the security door were a little stiff, but it was fine. Wifi was a little patchy at times but it didn't cause us any problems for things like looking up local places to visit." ~Arash

"Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. We had everything we needed for a great stay, everything was impeccably clean, comfortable as well as beautifully designed and decorated. The beds were very, very comfortable, and having 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom was a rare find, and perfect for our family. Looking out over the surrounding mountains the beautiful fruit trees made each day special. The hosts are truly professional, kind, caring, gracious and generous, and we all felt well taken care of during our stay. We highly recommend this property!" ~Matthew

"Pros: If you are looking for the best place to stay on Sardinia, look no further. This is it. The owner takes care of everything you need and is always available. He even sends you a video how to get to the house and how to get into the house with using the key locker. Owner lives nearby, so not on the property. You will get your own house, with a surrounding garden. The garden has land turtles. Great challenge for children to try to find them. Private parking on the fenced property. Living room with airconditioning and open well equipped kitchen, including a microwave and dishwasher. Three bedrooms all with airconditioning: two bedrooms have a double bed, one bedroom has two single beds. Two bathrooms with a shower and toilet. Washing machine. Huge terrace with a dining table and lounge chairs. The terrace has a view on the sea and the surrounding hills. Only a few minutes drive away are some nice restaurants in Solanas and the (free) beach with free parking. In less than 20 minutes you can drive to Villasimius where you will find more restaurants and also the possibility to rent a boat. The airport of Cagliari is only a 45 minutes drive.
