"Pros: Tenuta Monacelle is a truly enchanting place, as if pulled straight from the pages of a book. It combines the charm of southern Italy’s traditional trulli architecture with modern design, creating a unique and beautiful atmosphere.
The property features two spacious, well-located parking areas, adding to the convenience. The staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive, enhancing the overall experience. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, but for a more authentic touch, I highly recommend booking one of the trulli.
The on-site restaurant is excellent, offering fresh and delicious food. The scenery is breathtaking, making this a perfect spot for anyone seeking peace, quiet, and a chance to re-energize. Additionally, it’s conveniently close to wonderful nearby restaurants and attractions in Bari and Fasano.
Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay!
Cons: What I liked the least was the breakfast, which, while featuring excellent local products like jam, honey, and olive oil, could benefit from more variety. My only other critique is the use of plastic cups for water and juice, which not only feels out of place for such an elegant venue but also misses an opportunity to align with eco-friendly practices."

"Pros: We had an incredible week at this gorgeous villa, which exceeded all our expectations. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful fields and olive groves that provided the perfect picturesque backdrop for our holiday.
The villa itself was amazing, offering a spacious swimming pool that everyone enjoyed. It had everything we needed, from a washing machine and dishwasher to two fridges, an outdoor fridge, and a barbecue setup. There were even two coffee machines, a microwave, and hairdryers in every bathroom. The lovely shampoos and body showers were a nice touch that made us feel pampered.
Despite needing a car to get there, the location was fantastic. It was close to many attractions, like Alberobello, Locorotondo, Monopoli (just 20 minutes away), Ostuni (45 minutes), and Bari (one hour). We particularly enjoyed being only 10 minutes from a fantastic safari and zoo, which also had an entertainment park. There was a wonderful restaurant just 7 minutes away, and the paths around the villa were great for running.
One of the best features was the spa, which was a wonderful addition, especially on the colder days when the pool was a bit too chilly. The villa’s four bedrooms and four bathrooms provided plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The presence of traditional Puglian trulli on the property added a unique historical charm that we loved, and the authentic Puglian décor made us feel truly immersed in the local culture.
Our host, Gaia, was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful, provided great recommendations, and was always reachable on WhatsApp. She even helped arranging for a private chef to cook a luxurious dinner for us one night, which was an unforgettable experience.
Overall, our stay at the villa was absolutely wonderful. It felt luxurious, was well-equipped, and provided a perfect base for exploring the area. We will be highly recommending this villa to anyone wanting to explore the region. It was exceptional and worth every penny.
Cons: There were a few things to be aware of, which didn’t spoil our experience but are good to know. The one bedroom with two single beds didn't have full blackout blinds, which was a bit challenging for our toddlers who need complete darkness to sleep. We had to rearrange the sleeping arrangements to accommodate this and ended up having to put a couple in that room. Additionally, something to be aware is that the pool was not heated and a bit too cold for our toddlers during our stay when the weather was cooler which was such a pity because the one time we manage to use it it was great!"
