"Pros: Firstly, the view from our apartment was beautiful, we spent many coffee mornings and dinners on the balcony taking in the wonderful view. Giovanna was fantastic and always on hand to help with any issues and the owners family were also super lovely and helpful. The on-site parking was great as you have to pay to park almost everywhere you in scala. The square in Scala is lovely and has everything you need locally, such as restaurants/cafes and shop, pharmacy, butcher etc.. but this can be quite a tough walk without a car (although there is a local delivery service which we didn’t use). Scala is a wonderful area and is quiet and relaxed compared to the much busier Almafi which is only a short distance away (you can get the bus from the town square to Almafi for €1.40)" ~Sian
