"Pros: We stayed at Casa Leopina in December 2024 with 4 adults and a baby. It is a beautiful old stone house renovated and decorated with love. Each room has an air conditioner, which we used for heating in December. Around the house there is a nice garden with amazing view of the coast and Etna on the other side. Jacuzzi in the garden and fireplace in the living room were the highlights for us. Kitchen is not too big, but well equipped. The owner Andrea was very friendly and helpful, providing tips about local sights and restraunts. We enjoyed our stay in December a lot and would like to come back when it is a little bit warmer."

"Pros: The accommodation and the facilities were great!
There is a lovely yard with a garden at the apartment that were very beautiful.
If you take a walk upwards you get great views of Etna in the morning if the weather allows.
Good location to explore Catania, Syracusa, Taormina or Etna.
You get a really peaceful stay with great comfort and cleanliness.
Cons: There was a bit of a language issue upon arrival. Since the mobile network is rather weak due to the location on the hillside, it was hard to get through and understand how the get the keys. Once the host understood that we have arrived, everything ran smoothly.
Be aware to shop for groceries at nearby Giarre or similar."
