"Pros: The host was super friendly, really flexible and met us as soon as we arrived. The apartment is in an excellent location. Just 2 minutes from the much quieter entrance to old Pompeii (the main entrance is 10 minutes further on, but that entrance has huge ques). It's also just 2 minutes from a public bus that takes you to Mt Vasuvious (you need to pre purchase tickets online to walk to the top of the crater from the bus stop). Loads of nice restaurants near by. A big Supermarket is 10 mins walk away. It's a really good sized apartment and I would recommend if staying in Pompeii.
Cons: Pack ear plugs. The downside of the great location is that there is a large amount of street noise which the double glazed windows don't block."
