"Pros: Attentive and welcoming staff, the building is beautifully restored and the apartment (one double bedroom plus a twin-bed mezzanine) comfortable for 4 people. Quiet surroundings; perfectly located along the Via di Francesco if you're walking the trek. Cons: The Locanda is a 10min walk out of the Pietralunga village, which is close enough but the road has no pavement for pedestrians. Better to move by car – a 2min trip. The reception for check-ins closes sharply at 6pm – not a problem we encountered, but just to be aware." ~Riccardo
