"Pros: This is a lovely quaint place with gorgeous wooden beams on the roof and skylights. Modern appliances and host was very helpful. location was great too: walking distance to everything. There were games to play and enough dishes etc for the 4 of us. Cons: The lighting isn’t great. there are a lot of peripheral lights but no main light and none over the dining table so we used our torch lights on our phone a bit. It’s also the only place we have booked through booking.com where we have had to strip our sheets and take out all our rubbish. I’m sure if not being able to leave any rubbish behind is a common thing or not, but i’ve not experienced it before at any other place we have stayed at." ~Tina

"Pros: Location: Perfect location on high end shopping street close to the Duomo and the Pilazzo della Pilotta, cafes and restaurants steps away but no noise up above in our apartment. Old building but functional. Loved this city, lots to do, authentic Italian feel. Layout: Three floors above the street level, accessed by a modern, quiet and slow moving lift. The kitchen and living room are together with dining table and comfortable sofa. Sloping roof in bedroom, a bit tight at foot of bed, but room enough. The bathroom was compact but perfectly equipped, also has a well functioning washing machine. Furnishings: Modern styling, clean and comfortable. The apartment was a cosy nest above the bustling city with a skylight view of the tops of the Battistero and Duomo tower. The only windows (except for kitchen windows onto lift well) are the sloping ceiling skylights but very enjoyable looking up at the sky. We would certainly stay here again. Cons: It is difficult to find anything. My partner would have liked bedside tables with reading light but hey it’s delightfully compact and compromises need to be made." ~Denise
