"Pros: The place is in a pedestrian-only zone just a block or two away from numerous restaurants, cafes, gelaterios, etc. Quite a happening scene on a Saturday night! It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Archeological Museum and westernmost point of Sicily. Communication with the host was prompt and cordial. Our room was fine, but note that there are two flights of stairs to bedroom level. There’s a pleasant sitting area on that level, with kitchen/breakfast area on entry level. Breakfast was self-serve packaged pastries, but water and juice were provided which was convenient for takeaway.
Cons: There is free public parking very convenient to the place, plus a paid parking lot next to that, but there were zero spaces available when we arrived. We ended up parking about a 15-minute walk away — not what I had expected, but we encountered the same situation with other listings in Sicily that include parking as an amenity. (That is, free street parking nearby but no guarantee you’ll find a spot there.)"
