"Pros: The owners and staff very really good. We had a big room with a balcony which was nice looking out on the garden. Great shower and lots hot water. Huge breakfasts, they keep bringing out food!
5 min walk from station and 5 min over rail bridge to the Old city. The front door is right on the road, so you have to watch for cars and bikes when stepping out onto the street."

"Pros: Great location and well appointed. Had all we needed and well places to visit Lucca - parking space a bonus! Good communication with host very attentive.
Cons: A little musty when we arrived but once windows opened 10 mins later we were fine. It was very hot when we visited and though fans were provided i think an air con unit in the bedroom could help - there is an aircon unit in the kitchen which was good."
