"Pros: Location is fantastic. Close to everything Lucca has to offer, the train station, city walls, shops & bars, tourist attractions. Can’t fault location at all. Cons: The very low beam in the mezzanine bedroom. If you are over 5’8” you’re going to struggle without fully concentrating on this beam. My husband cracked his head on it 3 times as he was making his way round to his side of the bed which caused a minor cut, he had to crouch down as he made his way to the stairs. The apartment has been beautifully renovated & the bedroom is a lovely feature but perhaps leaving the beam the orginial wood colour rather than painted to blend in with the white ceiling it would make you aware that the beam is there. The only way round for him was to crawl across the bed to get to the left side! Also a shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries on would have been really useful but that’s just the tidy person in me!!" ~Liz
