"Pros: We arrived late in evening and the host met us at the entrance. No extra fee for late check in was charged. Easy check in. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is even free coffee and snacks. Wifi and air condition works. There is two air condition units - one for bedroom, one for kithen. Bathroom is clean and spacious. Grogery shops and restaurants are nearby. You can cook in apartment or have a meal in city. Quiet place. Everything was clean.It is not studio apartment but two rooms, so one person can sleep and another be in kitchen area without disturbing each other, Cons: All windows are to inner yard so you can't have a view to city, but, on the other hand, it is often too hot weather to keep windows open anyway, and this makes apartment quiet. Tap water is not tasty, but the host left us bottled water for free in frigde." ~Helena

"Pros: We stayed for a week in February as a couple with two school-aged children and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was very comfortable and perfectly situated for our needs. The location in Grosseto couldn't be better for people such as us, who do not have a car: within the city walls, with excellent access to public transportation. We arrived by direct train from Rome, departed on a direct train to Florence, and even made a day trip by express bus to Siena without any hassle. We used the apartment as a base for outdoor activities, including birdwatching in the coastal marshes and bike riding in the Maremma park (we rented bikes for the day in Albarese). The short walk to a supermarket and a fully-equipped kitchen made it very easy to shop and prepare our own meals when we wanted. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Though the apartment overlooks a lively square, the windows are extremely well soundproofed. Even on Saturday night, the busiest night of the week, the music and chatter outside was reduced to a low murmur indoors, and we fell asleep with ease. Our host Barbara was exceptionally hospitable, providing many helpful recommendations and promptly addressing any small issues we encountered. Highly recommend!" ~Timur
