"Pros: The Decor was beautiful, the gardens and the pool were lovely. The staff were all very helpful. The bed very comfortable and the view from our balcony back to the mountains and the Paestum temples was gorgeous. The breakfast was very nice. The beach club 93 that was free was very nice, it was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel or you could get the free shuttle bus. It was expensive at 18 Euro for an Aperol Spritz. You really need a car to stay here. It was too hot to walk far when we were there. We were not able to have an evening meal in the hotel as there were functions on. We had access to the hotel Savoy next door where we ate twice in the tre olivi restaurant. The staff and the food here were great. It’s a very attractive area for a meal or a drink. If you need supplies of water or anything there is the Athena beach club and camp site across the road from the Savoy. This has a general shop. We ate in the Athena beach club one night.Food and drink were very reasonable and the sunset was gorgeous. Cons: As mentioned by others there were functions on two out the three nights we were there. On the Sunday we had to leave the pool area at 12.30. You can go to the pool next door in the Savoy so it’s not too much of a problem. On our last day the gardeners were working around the pool so it was constant noise of strummers, trimmers and lawnmowers for a few hours. It was 5 euro extra if you wanted any kind of Egg or fresh orange juice for breakfast. We had no problem with noise from the events." ~Margaret
