"Pros: Very central, cosy, clean, compact with everything you need. Thanks to the very central location it is easy to come back to the apartment for a while during the day. Camilla is a great host, and also a Giovanni was very kind and helpful. Of course as it is so central you have some sound sometimes, but in general it is quiet after the restaurants close" ~Saskia

"Pros: Beautiful quirky town house, in a fantastic location, with views overlooking the cathedral & Piazza Del’Odigitrio square. Easy to find, and easy check in & out, thanks to great communication from Umberto & his mother. Well equipped kitchenette, and bathroom (albeit small), with powerful shower, very comfortable bed & lots of storage in bedroom. Roof terrace with table & chairs, great for people watching! Lots of thoughtful little extras provided, & a great complimentary toiletries Must also mention the welcome bottle of wine & huge quantity & selection of breakfast items that they left for us! Instant coffee, ground coffee pods, tea, fruit teas, sugar, sweeteners, fruit juices, energy drinks, bottled water, porridge oats, muesli, 2 types of milk, Melba toast, cold meats & olives, tomatoes, yogurts, honey, lemon pastries, puff pastry fingers, biscuits, rusks, savoury pretzels, bread rolls, & a large cake! (I may have forgotten some things)! Cons: The only thing that would prevent me from staying here again is the access to all floors is via very steep staircases. We did know this when we booked, & understand it’s typical of most buildings in the old town. We are a couple of 60-somethings, and I’m walking on crutches at the moment, so was a bit of s challenge, but we managed ok!" ~Tina

"Pros: I had a great stay here. I had seen some comments before about moisture and I had some concerns because I know this area of Bari has these issues but it was not the case. The room had absolutely no smell and everything felt fresh and clean. They were really nice and made sure we had towels of all sizes, toothpaste, shower gel, new toilet paper rolls, tea, sugar, coffee creamer... honestly so kind of them as they had absolutely no reason to be this nice but they were. We had some trouble with our plane being late and the host's mom waited for us and explained the basics to us. Genuinely a LOVELY lady that was kind and sweet to us even though we had made her wait. I'm very grateful to them both. They did leave us some local wine as well, which is an extremely kind gesture. I got a little confused by the lights but I figured it out, haha, smart thinking to have them linked. One thing, be aware that the room is divided into two, downstairs is the kitchen and upstairs the bedroom and bathroom. We had absolutely no issue with this and loved it but people with mobility issues need to know there are stairs to climb. Overall very very happy to have chosen this place to stay in. Ps. Do not be scared to be close to the church, you can barely hear it and it's bells ring very shortly. Thank you again and many positive vibes your way!" ~Ineovan

"Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Corte Serra. This is a beautiful place to stay in the heart of Bari old town. The couple who run it are warm, welcoming and friendly. We navigated the language barrier with a small amount of Italian and translate apps. They offered advice on restaurants, things to do and even helped guide us to the station on our last day. The location was perfect for us and even though we were in the centre, the room was very quiet and an oasis of calm. Really beautiful place, very charming and we would go back." ~Matthew
