"Pros: We loved our stay at this location. We were scheduled to meet the host Maria at 3pm and we ran into some difficulties and did not arrive until 7 pm, Maria was waiting for us and provided us with a great orientation of the unit which was very helpful. Maria even called the local restaurant which was about a 5 minute walk to make a reservation for us, the meal we were given there was excellent and well appreciated after a long day of driving. The unit is very well decorated and makes you feel at home as soon as you step into the place. There is everything in the kitchen that you will need to make any meals you are planning on making, Maria gave us some farm fresh eggs when we arrived which were delicious. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs and are very nice, the bed is very comfortable and you get a great view down the hillside and can see Florence in the distance while lying in bed. There is a great patio space outside the main entrance which would accommodate 4 people. This unit is located a very short walk from the village where there is a coffee shop a couple of restaurants and a convenience store. The unit is about a 10 minute drive from the main road and about a 20-25 minute drive to downtown Florence and also very convenient to the highway which we used to get to Siena and Pisa which were around an hour away. This was our favorite place to stay in all the facilities we booked while we were in Italy. We would have no issues staying there again or recommending it to friends or family. Enjoy. "Pros: The location was good, the view from the apartment great! Very comfortable bed. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Cons: I had poor shower experience - no hand shower and the water pressure was poor. Too many bugs for my taste." ~Simona
