"Pros: The location is really idyllic. Towards the edge of a small town offering relaxation and calm.
The apartment is lovely; very new, stylishly decorated and full of everything you might need. Beds were super comfy!
There is a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy.
Chiara was very helpful!
Some welcome snacks upon arrival and the toiletries are of very good quality.
Cons: A very small thing, more of a suggestion... if 3 or 4 people are staying there I think you need another little sofa or armchair!"

"Pros: This unique holiday home is situated in a small town with just the right distance to the lake to avoid the tourist masses and still be able to reach it within a short drive down the hills. A coffee bar and a small convenience store are to be found within short walking distance. There is limited parking but even though it was high season (ferragosto) we always found a space at a municipal lot directly adjacent to the place. We were greeted by the host Antonella upon arrival at the time scheduled and given a tour through the entire building. The rooms are very spacious and very well equipped, enough for three couples easily. When we come back to the region we will certainly stay there again."

"Pros: Ameno is a lovely authentic village in the hills above Lake Orta. The hostel is a great economical place to stay while exploring the area - a car is very useful.
I loved having a working kitchen to use & the location is nice with a wee park just outside with shade & seats. The bar across the courtyard is friendly & not too noisy usually. It shuts early anyway.
The bathroom was good, although only one toilet & shower per gender, so if a lot of guests it could be difficult.
Giuditta was so helpful & accomodating with all of my questions & requests: a very kind but busy lady.
Cons: To make things perfect, a towel would be nice & also at least hand soap for the bathrooms.
In the summer heat, leaving the windows open then lets the mosquitoes in, so a fan or insect screens would be great too.
Just suggestions but overall I loved my stay here. Thank you"
