"Pros: The view was great, of course. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment we didn't need because we weren't there long enough to cook for ourselves. The towels were large, and the place was so quiet I didn't realize it was raining. Loved browsing the book selection, and it was very cool to be in a building that was already old when a local sailor joined the expedition of Christopher Columbus. The owner was pleasant, helpful, and responsive. Cons: The only thing that didn't work well for us would be tough to fix. It would have been nice to sit on the sofa to chat, but the couch is in the main bedroom -- not a deal-buster but a little quirky. Our conversation spots were chairs by the window and the ample dining table." ~Katherine

"Pros: Great views. Lovely being within the old town. Lovely house. Spotlessly clean. Very calming place and really quiet. Cons: Was a bit tricky to find especially as we arrived on bikes in a thunderstorm. Maybe a sign part way up the road. Ignore Maps if it says you have arrived…keep going up even when the steps get narrower. Host sent photos to help us. Shower head needs fixing and towel rail fixing." ~Katie

"Pros: The apartment is located in a beautiful small old town. The place is confortabile, clean, well supplied with all appliances, warm and beautifully decorated.
