"Pros: Good size apt located right on the water front with outstanding views from the windows. Host was responsive with code for key safe. Good workable kitchen (a microwave oven would be a nice extra.). Overall nice well located apt for a few days stay.
Cons: Unfortunately I can not ignore the sewerage smell in the bathroom/toilet which was quite unpleasant. On the positive side, If the bathroom door is kept closed, It does isolates the smell from the rest of the apt. If it were not for the smell the apt would have got a 10.
The following are not criticisms just notes for future travellers.
1. There are 2 flights of stairs, which we were aware of and not too steep.
2. The free parking is quite a distant and difficult to drag a wheelie suitcase as some of the ally ways have pebble paving. Best to use the rampart wall, which has a smooth path and takes you straight to the apt. Just need to get up a flight of stairs at the start. I would suggest leaving luggage in the car and only taking bare necessities."

"Pros: The apartment is so lovely and well equipped. We stayed for 15 nights, plenty of room and cooking space to eat in when you wish. Lovely ocean view and in the centre of Old Town Alghero. Loads of restaurants and bars surround you, yet still quiet and peaceful. Lucia checked us in and out and helped with numerous questions during our stay, she was so helpful. Paolo the owner was incredibly helpful leading up to our stay and during when needed. We hope to travel back to Alghero in the future and will definitely stay at La Terrazza sui Bastioni. The sunsets were amazing from the balcony and the garden was delightful.

Cons: Parking is off site due to location of apartment, but it’s an easy lovely walk along the waterfront to the parking area."

"Pros: Beautiful little apartment, well equipped snd spotlessly clean. Location really good just in a side street in the edge of the old town, right near shops and restaurants etc but quiet street. I contacted the owners on a few occasions by text for advice re parking, buses, restaurants etc and they were always prompt replying and helpful. A book in the room containing details of local information re local amenities (buses, supermarket, restaurants etc) would be a really great addition
Cons: Steep steps inside ground floor entrance to first floor apartment. Was ok for us but when carrying cases was a little difficult."
