"Pros: 1. I stayed with my adult son and we could move around our ensuite bedrooms and the living areas without waking each other. There was no figuring out who got the better room, each was excellent 2. The finishes were new and nice 3. I felt welcomed by the host including little things Americans like 4. The apartment was full of light with 2 decks and one was gigantic with an option of shade. There were also automatic aluminum shades that darken each room perfectly 5. The neighborhood was nice with 2 large grocery stores (lidl and Conad) in walking distance 6. AC in each room that works great 7. Our host sent us a guidebook with activity and restaurant suggestions. Do not miss Neptune’s Grotto or the park north of the city" ~Andrea

"Pros: PierLuigi was a great host he even got in touch with us saying we could arrive early if it suited us . Although we had to communicate via translation on phone he showed around apt and where everything was. Aircon was great and WiFi was good around apt . The apt is very comfortable and clean and having use of a washing machine is a great bonus. Great for a couple plenty of space, facilities are good . We left early for our flight home and just had to leave keys in agreed place when leaving. Cons: It may not suit everyone as it's a 20min walk approx to old historic town and beaches but it worked for us as we like to walk and explore. Alot of roads lead back to apt from marina and old town but despite making a few wrong turns we found our way home each night and soon found the best route. Google maps was helpful the first couple of evenings heading home as street lighting is quite dull. So no complaints about the apt itself and we had a super holiday in Alghero." ~Carolyn
