"Pros: Casa Lerux is ideally situated, a 1-minute walk from Via Atenea, THE street of the centro storico. Every bar and restaurant you will want is a short stroll from the structure. We arrived in Agrigento by bus; Casa Lerux is a 10-minute walk from the bus station (flat) and the train station (uphill).
The breakfast room is small, but the terrace adjacent is large and has an incredible view of the sea.
The room was sufficiently large and has every convenience (the bathroom is tiny and a bit difficult to navigate though).
Ruggero, the owner, was very welcoming and available for any question or issue.
Cons: Cats! If you're allergic, as I am, it's impossible to avoid the overpowering odor of cat urine. Several cats had ownership of our landing. The piazzetta in front and the street nearby are obviously the feeding area for some soft-hearted (and misguided) soul.
Stairs! If you have any knee problems, all rooms accessible only by steep stairs; our room had the fewest, perhaps 10, and a separate entrance (which we appreciated). The breakfast area is at the very top of the structure."
