Jerusalem Gate Hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of the Holy City, within easy walking distance of the central bus station. The Old City and the historic Jerusalem city centre are just a 15-minute bus ride or train ride away. Hotel Jerusalem Gate offers modern, comfortable and spacious rooms and newly renovated deluxe suites. All guests get to freely use the hotel's gym, which is located at the Shopping Centre attached to the hotel. The Jerusalem Gate features a Glatt Kosher coffee shop which is open daily for sandwiches, salads, desserts and a great selection of refreshments. There is also a large shopping centre attached to the hotel, which is filled with numerous shops and restaurants. This is Jerusalem's only hotel that is Glatt Le Mehadrin, under the official Rabbinate of Jerusalem, and is the only hotel to boast a Mikva. The International Convention Centre (ICC) is within walking distance, as are the popular tourist attractions of the Israel Museum and the Mahane Yehuda market.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. In accordance with government guidelines to minimise transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property may request additional documentation from guests to validate identity, travel itinerary and other relevant information, during dates where such guidelines exist. A damage deposit of ILS 350 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price. On week days checkout is at 11am and on Saturdays checkout is after sunset. After this time, a surcharge of USD 55 applies. All requests for late departures are subject to confirmation by the property.
